Story of our Company

Pakistan Institute of Mind Sciences (PIMS ®) is a Pakistani training institute offering live, internationally-accredited certifications in Trauma-Informed CBT, DBT Skills, Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP Life Coaching and more. Founded by Ibrahim Siawash in 2017, PIMS is a project of Psycheversity (registered with SECP and FBR Pakistan).

All four courses are accredited by GIMP — Global Institute of Modern Psychology, Malaysia. PIMS combines evidence-based psychological frameworks with applied skills training, taught by a practicing counselling psychologist with 15+ years of clinical experience. Classes are delivered live over Zoom with lifetime access to recordings, allowing students from across Pakistan, the GCC, Malaysia, and the wider international community to train without leaving their existing practice.

Our position is plain: we teach therapy and coaching modalities for what they are — practical clinical and coaching tools, not magic. We make no overclaims about what any single modality can do, and we equip every graduate to verify local regulatory requirements before practicing in their own jurisdiction.

Ibrahim Siawash

USA Certified Trauma Informed Counseling Psychologist, USA Certified Hypnotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer, Psychologist, Life Coach and Corporate Trainer

Ibrahim is a trauma-informed therapist and the founder of PIMS ® — Pakistan Institute of Mind Sciences. He holds an MA in Counselling Psychology and an MS in Organisational Psychology, and is currently completing his PhD in psychology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, with research focused on the psychology of well-being. He is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (National Guild of Hypnotists, USA), Certified NLP Trainer (American Board of NLP, USA), and Certified Life Coach. He has completed advanced training in mindfulness and emotional regulation through Yale University’s online programs. Since 2011, Ibrahim has worked with thousands of clients and trainees across Pakistan and internationally, combining evidence-based psychological frameworks with applied skills training. He teaches Trauma-Informed CBT, DBT skills, clinical hypnotherapy, and NLP coaching at PIMS, and consults for organisational training and individual therapy through his private practice.
